Bowl for a Cause: Join Us in Supporting Two Great Franklin Organizations
Get ready to roll a strike for a great cause! The Franklin Noon Lions Club is proud to present our annual 9 Pin ‘No Tap’ Bowling Fundraiser on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at Root River Center in Franklin, Wisconsin. This exciting and family-friendly event is more than just a fun way to spend your Sunday—it’s an opportunity to support two outstanding local programs: the Franklin Little League Challenger Division and the Franklin Police Department’s K-9 Unit.
For just $15 per person, participants can choose from three bowling sessions: 11:00 AM, 1:30 PM, or 4:00 PM. Each session includes a chance to participate in a 9 Pin ‘No Tap’ bowling game—a fun variation where knocking down nine pins on the first ball counts as a strike. It’s a relaxed, inclusive format that levels the playing field and makes it easy for bowlers of all ages and abilities to join in the fun.
Why We Bowl
Proceeds from the event will benefit two important community programs. The Challenger Division is a branch of Franklin Little League that offers an adaptive baseball experience designed for children with physical and intellectual challenges. It gives these young athletes a chance to participate in organized sports, build friendships, and experience the joy of teamwork in a supportive environment.
At the same time, funds will support the Franklin Police Department’s K-9 Unit—a vital part of our city’s public safety team. These specially trained dogs and their handlers assist in tracking suspects, locating missing persons, and detecting illegal substances, helping to keep Franklin safe and secure.
More Than Bowling
Beyond the lanes, participants can take part in our giant raffle, featuring an exciting lineup of prizes donated by local businesses and community members. From gift baskets and restaurant gift cards to tickets for local attractions and unique surprises, there’s something for everyone. All raffle proceeds will also go directly to the Challenger Division and the K-9 Unit.
Whether you’re a competitive bowler or just looking for a fun outing with family and friends, this event is a perfect way to combine fun with philanthropy. Enjoy an afternoon filled with laughter, friendly competition, and a shared sense of purpose as we raise funds for causes that truly matter.
